Most benzodiazepines have nitrogen at the 1,4 positions in the diazepine ring. However, clobazam has nitrogen at the 1,5 positions in the ring. This is why the brand name is Onfi (One-five). The nitrogens at the 1,5 positions change what kind of GABA receptors Onfi bonds to, and causes it to be less sedating.
